Tether when used as a verb means to use a Smartphone in order to connect a computer or other device to the Internet.
And, Tether when used as a Noun means to tie (an animal) with a rope or chain so as to restrict its movement.

One single word can mean different when used differently.

Similarly in life, there might be times when a statement could hold a different value for different person. Not necessarily another person would mean the same you think they meant. Both positively or negatively. There might be times when words created a big difference just because they sounded the same but meant different.

“So think twice before you draw a Bottom Line.”
